Equality Scheme

Laws are now in place which are designed to deal with unfair discrimination based on gender, race or disability. The Equality Scheme explains how NHSGGC will uphold the law by addressing inequalities. This means, for example, making sure that services are working well for everyone and that people are getting information in a way they can understand. The Equality Scheme also covers people’s right not to be discriminated against in the workplace on grounds of race, gender, disability, age or sexual orientation.
