Support for Staff with Money Worries
In the current economic climate, many staff are experiencing money and debt problems, which can increase personal stress. NHSGGC has a number of resources to support staff.
Money Advice Cards – available from all main sites in a handy credit card size. Includes telephone numbers for help with money and debt management, work-life balance; employee support and staff benefits.
The ‘Help for You’ leaflet can also be used for staff experiencing money difficulties and copies can be left in staff informal meeting areas and notice boards.
Release Potential Campaign
NHSGGC wants to promote an environment where staff members feel able to tell their managers about their disability and where managers understand the benefits of developing a workplace culture that is supportive to disabled people.
Over the coming months, we will be promoting the importance of a workplace culture which supports disabled colleagues. There are currently a wide range of resources available to managers on the Release Potential Staffnet pages. A Staff Disability Forum has also been established.
